and yes... it's part of my little manip experiment (that tutorial will eventually be done)

edit - After several people asking me if I painted this all from scratch, despite me saying otherwise, showing the stock photo and mentioning it was indeed a manip, I will now specifically say: Yes, it's a paintover/manip. No, I didn't do this completely from scratch. The stock was mentioned. I did a paintover manipulation to prove a point about how some artists pretend to paint such detailed works sans photo.

Regardless, a lot of paint work went into this, and that's why I decided to put it under digi paint as opposed to photo manip. Before when I had done paintovers and put them in the "manip" category, people had mentioned to me that so much paintwork went into them they should have been put into digi-paint. I honestly don't care which category it falls into, just as long as everyone who doesn't know me or my work is clear on how I did this particular "painting". Most of my other works are not done in this fashion, hence the lack of insane details.
