loads of hours & once again I could have gone longer and made it better, but when I start doing stuff and it makes it look worse, I know I'm finished.
Long description. Please don't bother telling me if you couldn't be arsed to read it. I never did see the point in saying such... I know if someone writes too much shite, I don't read it, so I'm completely empathetic to your plight. Also, I don't know, reading it might take away from the image, I know I like to make my own story up for paintings.
-------------------------
Luna saw the red-haired girl running with him, her fiery curls bouncing along with his sable-caressed ones. Giggles mockingly flittered and danced up to the yellow-green treetops, which were currently kissed with mustard-tinted golds, savory oranges, and the flaming reds of the new fall. Beyond the tip-top leaf, the flirty-laced guffaws danced, waving their gowns around in a whirlwind of colours. Up… and further still… the laughter swallowed her, crawling across her skin in such a way that forced all her little hairs to stand on end. Her throat swelled with tears that she was determined to never again feel flow. Her heart dropped from some mixture of jealousy, anguish & self-loathing… oh the self-loathing.
Love reminded her of the cool glow of the night sky, right when it met with morning, the purples and pinks that began to warm her toes, those purple sunrises that would forevermore remind her of him.
It was time to say goodbye to such resplendent reminders of foolish idealisms… if only there were a way.
The sun knew of Luna’s suffering, and secretly relished in it, still bitter about Luna’s long ago rejection of her lust. As happy as Heliunndria was to see the girl in misery, she knew the anguish alone wouldn't be quite enough to sate her. She wanted to annihilate the whore, forgetting she ever was, leaving the skies for herself and her star sister & brethren.
Heliunndria approached Luna with a most enticing offer; she had secrets of the galaxies & time itself, and possessed the "formula for forevermore forgetfulness". As long as Luna had no strong reminders of her past life (eg the perfect purple sunrise), in combination of the solution she was to concoct; she could live out her eternity oblivious to such heart-wrenching fanciful recollections. The sun would allot Luna an area to roam that would never again be warmed by her.
The deal was binding, and if broken Luna was to be banished from existence for all eternity. Dust. The idea of forgetting him though, was entirely too luring for her to resist. She agreed without any real thought (she was quite notorious for being hasty).
Heliunndria and Luna sealed the bargain caressing tongues with fervor, fingers gently entwined, & softly grinding, as was the custom of the passion-filled heavens. Each cooled and warmed the other’s innards for those few moments, that lingered much longer for Heliunndria… as some of her flames momentarily fizzled from the deep moisture pockets of pleasure.
Luna was to drink of the formula of tears, star flecks & galaxy dust, whilst looking into the looking glass of the past, on her final sunrise… watching his last romantic gesture to her.
So it came to be, Heliunndria set out to cross Luna’s sky for one last time, her tantalizing curves of light flickering gently against the clouds. Luna felt the heat once again coil around her toes, & she watched events of the past unfold, but as seductive the idea was of forever forgetting the grip he held on her heart, her fingers weakened from the intoxication of what was. Watching his eyes (and other unmentionables) glisten, as he climbed atop of her in memory alone, the dust loosely found freedom in the soft singing breeze, and she melted into sweet oblivion forever forgotten by all.
Beautiful colors. I guessmy favorite part would be the glow on the hands, i'm not sure why. The pose and the way you did the clouds is really nice too, same goes for the hair. Lovely story to go with it too. :]

ooo great work. I'm sure you're aware of the little problems this has so I won't bother criting it. There's nothing major and the overall feel is working which is the most important aspect.
I really love the outstretched arm and hand. Really well rendered.
