thought I would give this one a whirl.

I'm working my regular job as well as contract work and hardly have much time for anything, but this particular contest peaked my interest as it did the combo theme which I tend to like to do anyhow.

hopefully not too unfinished, but it wouldn't be me if it was actually polished.

since I wanted to make certain I kept the image integrity intact on the three photos (the rules made me slightly nervous on veering too much though i doubt they would have minded if it wasn't obviously not the same references... plus I mean common so much easier this way!), I painted over them after sketching about where I wanted them to go. The strawberry was 'glazed' and the cat pretty much is the original photo just with legs and whatnot. I am not much with manipulating objects the way the professionals do (wish I could - teach me someone!) and I can't draw a straight line to save my life so with the clock's numeric values I selected them in a layer and fill painted them green.

pretty much it.

in the end I wanted to feel like I was adding something to my gallery that would fit in with my other stuff and feel authentic to what I dig and win or lose or place in between I feel I did.
